...Windsor FC, is looking to secure a deal which would see another familiar face return to the ground.
Andrew Fagan played for Windsor during their 1-1 draw at Farnham Town on Tuesday night and he will play again against Epsom & Ewell today.
The centre back, who was released from Maidenhead United last week, was a key member of Scott’s Windsor & Eton title-winning side of 2010.
He has yet to agree to a move back to Stag Meadow but Scott is hopeful of clinching a deal.
He said: “He would be a fantastic signing. He’s a great lad and a top player.
“He played on Tuesday and will play again today. He hasn’t signed anything yet but we will sit down after the game on Saturday, have a chat and see if we can get him to the club.
“There are two or three other clubs who are interested in him but hopefully we can get something done.
“It’s down to him but I would love to get him on board. I want to win the league and players like Andrew will help with that.”
Fagan was a rock at the heart of the Windsor & Eton defence which won the Southern League Division One South & West title in 2010.But since moving to Blue Square Bet South side Maidenhead he has found his playing time limited and when he did feature, it was mainly at right back.
“Andrew is a centre back,” said Scott. “He’s a centre half through and through.
“I have kept in touch with all of the players I had with me at the old club, we had a unique relationship.
“I always spoke to them to see how they were doing and I would watch them from afar.
“So when Andrew was released last week I touched base with him and said I would like him to come on board.”
