Full-back Jack Ashton has signed for Evo-Stik League Southern Division One Central club Daventry Town.

Ashton was with Oxford City last season during which, he made twenty-one appearances as the club gained promotion to the Blue Square Bet North via the Southern Premier play-offs.

He made his debut for City in September 1010 having originally replaced ex-Town defender Tommy Kinch in the side. Kinch subsequently moved on to Woodford United.

Meanwhile, Jason Lee has signed up for another season at Communication Park.

The former Kettering Town defender, 29, is one of the longest-serving players at Daventry, having originally joined from Long Buckby at the end of the 2008/09 season.
