The Crows’ manager expects John McGrandles to be out for the long-term with a knee injury, while Jason Beck has been released due to work commitments.

But Attfield will see his first-team host Takeley today and has plenty of irons in the fire as he plans for the trip to Thatcham Town in three weeks.

"I’m looking to bring in a couple of players as we need to sort things out defensively," said Attfield. "We need to find a couple of options, but it’s not something I’m worried about.

"I’ve got two or three names being bandied about and I’m looking to sort it out over the next week."
