....North club Bamber Bridge and signed a contract and will remain as captain.

Brig boss Neil Crowe also announced that supporters` player of the year Alistair Waddecar and manager`s player of the year Lee Dovey along with all of last year’s squad, have agreed to sign for the forthcoming season.

Over the next couple of weeks Crowe and his assistant Neil Reynolds will be speaking to several targets and are very hopeful that these will be added to their squad.

As for the management, last season’s reserve team assistant-manager Stuart Barton has joined the coaching staff and will work closely with the goalkeepers throughout the upcoming season.

Crowe said: “Even though the season has pretty much just ended my batteries are fully recharged and I cannot wait for pre-season to start.”
