....the sale of the Badgers has fallen through.
Lynch said: “With regards to the sale of the club it is with regret that this will not be now going through.
“There are a lot of unknowns with the club which have put them off. When I took over there were limited records and Chris Young has done his best to sort out the accounts but he can only go from the information he has been left but now with Jane Cheatle's help all income that comes in now through the club is accounted for.
“Over the past few weeks there have been lots of questions and no answers so I will do my best to go through those points raised.
“When I took over the club there were outstanding bills from `Dusk `til Dawn` which, provided certain conditions were met would be paid off. One of those conditions, which is the only condition not done yet, is the lease be transferred from Rob Yong, however the council do not want this to happen until he pays the money he owes them, leaving the club in a Catch 22 situation where nothing can move forward. Since then, more bills not on the list have appeared from prior to May 2011.
“As with anyone owed money there is only so long they will wait to be paid so some of them have taken action to recover the money owed to them. As with any company, regardless of what agreement we have from `Dusk `til Dawn`, the debt lies with the company, namely Eastwood Town FC Limited, so unless there is some movement from either the Council or `Dusk `til Dawn` the only ones who going to suffer are Eastwood Town.
“The questions regarding the floodlights and ground safety will have to wait until Thursday when we have met with the council.
“When I stated the season tickets would not be sold until later, this was to give the people who were interested in taking over the full benefit of that income but as that will not now be happening then they will be put on sale shortly.
“Several have stated the fact I am never there or they never see me at the club, I try to get up as often as I can but it was never my intention to be there 24/7 so to address this I will be looking to get someone local with a business background to take over as chairman so hopefully this will address this issue.”
