.....changes to the Badgers' backroom staff.
Shortly after the departure of first-team assistant-manager Barry Mead, manager Lee Herbert resigned at Birds Close for personal reasons. The pair had been in charge of the Badgers for the last two years with plenty of success.
Taking the senior reins as replacement for Herbert is former reserve team supremo Paul Field, who guided the second string to the Reserve Division Two title in 2011/12. He too recently left the club and was named by Cogenhoe United as reserve manager for next season, but has now had a change of heart with a return to Bugbrooke.
The Badgers are now searching for managers for their reserve and 'A' teams, Rob Frost having stepped down from the latter post due to other commitments after steering his team to their championship in the Northants Combination.
Lee Herbert, meanwhile, has surfaced at Sileby Rangers where he will assist Gary Petts in the campaign ahead.
In the light of the behind the scenes departures Bugbrooke have now decided to decline the opportunity of promotion to the Premier Division for season 2012/13 and have advised the league of their desire to remain in Division One.
