Blue Square Bet South club Bath City have signed 20-year-old left-back Danny Ball after he impressed during the opening pre-season games.

Danny Ball

A product of the Ashton Gate side's Academy, Ball signed a professional contract in 2010.

Despite an injury-disrupted 2010/11 season he had this contract twice extended until the end of last season when he was released by the Robins.

Ball said, "I would like to thank Bath City, and especially Adie Britton for bringing me to the club after showing their interest in me.

“I aim to repay the faith they have shown in me and am looking forward to proving myself by helping the club to have a successful season."
