A statement from the club said: "Unfortunately, results haven't gone our way this season and, coupled with the loss of several key players through injury, suspension and progression to other clubs, Ian felt that he had taken the present squad as far as he could.

"Both Ians leave with our heartfelt thanks for all their hard work over the last two seasons and we wish them both our very best wishes for their future endeavours.

"In the meantime, Dai Jones, our reserve team manager, has been appointed as interim first-team manager until the comittee decides on any future appointment."
