Both parties agreed that it would be best for all concerned if they moved on.
Commenting on the change , club chairman Shaun Forrester said: “Kevin has done a fantastic job at Bardon Hill, taking the club from the foot of the East Midlands Counties League to being recognised as one of the leading forces in the area. However, Kevin has found it increasingly difficult to balance a new career and family life against the challenges of managing a football club at this level.
“Everyone at the football club would like to thank Kevin for all his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.”
Bardon Hill will now start the search for a replacement and anyone who wishes to be considered for the position should contact the club secretary on 0799 987 9841.
The closing date for applications is Friday, May 11th.
