Priestley is a 23-year-old central defender who captained Colne. He is rated as one of the top defenders in the division and when his two-year contract expired, Town moved in to get their man.
Winger King will be expected to use his know how to help deliver the crosses for Town's new-look strike force to thrive on.
Fildes, 31, is moving in the opposite direction to Threlfall and Priestley. He is joining Colne as player-coach having missed out with his application to manage his former club Padiham.
Goalkeeper Carrington has been Town’s stopper for the last three seasons but the development of Marko Marosi has prompted both Carrington and the club's management to agree to part company.
