The Riversiders originally moved for Sutton at the end of last week after strikers Calum Ross, Jamie Allen and Carl Adams all sustained injuries in the Westerby Cup victory over Oadby Town.
Although Ross and Allen were fit enough to start last Saturday`s 4-0 win over St Andrews, Adams foot injury looks as if it may sideline him for another few weeks, along with Jack Lewis, who has sat out the last month with a knee injury.
With a hectic run of games due over the next few weeks, the Riversiders have therefore moved quickly to strengthen their squad and capture Sutton, who moved to the ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division side in the summer from Borrowash Victoria where he had scored thirteen goals in twenty-five appearances last season.
The striker has previously spent time at Gresley FC, Arnold Town and Long Eaton United, and appeared as a substitute for Quorn last weekend in their 1-0 defeat at Yaxley.
