....leading scorer Ray Spence to Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West side Hungerford Town by swooping for two new players.
He has made official approaches for Tom Williams, a pacy wide player with league rivals Wokingham & Emmbrook, and Wantage Town midfielder Scott Dewar.
And Bartley added: "I am hopeful of making another signing in the next week."
Bartley, a life-long friend of Spence, said he didn't want to lose the striker, but Town cannot compete with the money being offered by Hungerford. "They made him a good offer and it is a great opportunity for him," added Bartley
Spence, however, wasn't in Bartley's plans this side of Christmas, as the striker is serving a three-match ban following a sending-off while playing for South Reading in the Reading League.
