Bearman Pleased With Overall Performance

.....One Cranfield United side beat ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division Cogenhoe United 3-0 on Tuesday night.

“Considering we had ten players missing through work injuries and holidays it wasn`t a bad night,” Bearman said. “I looked at a different formation and some new players and it was a good work out for the boys as we only had three substitutes.

“We could and should have had a few more goals but the best thing on the night was the clean sheet.

The new players Michael Kavanagh (Bedford Town) Sam Bearman (Bletchley Town) and Arron Wheeler (local football) all did very well and are very good additions. We have also signed Jim and Simon Carmichael from Berkhamsted and Tom Damon from Bedford Town.

“ I lost two from last year to university and one to a team two leagues above us so we had to replace those and add some hopefully we can add a couple more in the next week then we should be okay.”
