...Ryman League Premier Division side East Thurrock United on Tuesday night.
However, the 4-1 scoreline is somewhat misleading, as the Beavers' last two goals came in added time at the end of the game.
Dave Tarpey gave the hosts the lead in the 54th minute and struck again 3 minutes later.
The Rocks refused to crumble after the double blow and Kris Newby replied after 65 minutes. But, as they pressed for a late equaliser, Tarpey completed his hat-trick to put the tie out of the visitors' reach and a Ben Wood own goal completed the tally.
That leaves Carshalton Athletic and Wealdstone to fly the Ryman League flag in Saturday's Third Round ties, while the Beavers face a tricky away tie at Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Northwich Victoria.
