.....squad ahead of the new season, after losing player of the year Warren Bellew.

Bellew signed for Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North side Skelmersdale United last week, having impressed on trial up at Stormy Corner.

The 21-year-old, who plays in a wide attacking midfield role, was one of Town's most impressive performers last season, notching double figures as Runcorn came within a whisker of securing promotion, finishing second behind Ramsbottom United.

But having caught the attention of Skem boss Tommy Lawson, Bellew will now be heading for the NPL. He departs with Runcorn's best wishes, though Burton is likely to bring in a replacement before the league season gets underway early on August 4th.
