Bennett Goal Sends Boro Through

....Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West play-off final.

Boro’s top scorer grabbed what proved to be the winning goal after 62 minutes with a spectacular overhead kick at Privett Park.

The Boatmen had dominated the early stages of the last-four play-off but their hopes were dented before half-time when former Boro' man Lewis Fennemore was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle.

And Boro looked comfortable in the second half to move into the final, where they will play the winners of tonight’s clash between Poole Town and Hungerford Town.

The final will be played on Bank Holiday Monday (May 7th) at 3pm.
