Ridgeons Football League

Former Peterborough, Cambridge City, Farnborough Town, Wealdstone, Newmarket Town, Haverhill Rovers, King`s Lynn, Tiptree United and AFC Sudbury keeper Benstead, who also represented England twice at Schoolboy level, has had a change in circumstances since joining Hadleigh with him now having a young child, and increased business ventures plus his travelling from the Southend area. This has made it difficult for him to commit fully to the club.
Hadleigh manager Stuart Crawford has placed on record his thanks to Aaron Benstead for his services and dedication to the club over the past two seasons and has wished him well for the future.
Banstead’s intentions are to play more locally to his home base, with Ryman League Division One North outfit Maldon & Tiptree the most likely club he will join.
