Blackwell `Revolution` Gathers Pace

The East Midlands Counties League club have announced the latest addition to its structure of with the appointment of John Burns to the club.

Burns is an ex-Everton player and has been brought on board to assist the club in the position of general manager.

He will take control of match day affairs looking after the administration and hospitality on home games.

With his vast knowledge of the local scene in the area, his brief is to raise the profile of the club and bring in valuable revenues to the club in their efforts to move forward.

Burns has a gift for hosting the speaker events and Blackwell will be looking for him to create a progressive programme of social events that will provide entertainment for the club members and sponsors.

Gary Hayward was instrumental in bringing John to the club and is excited that he has captured Burns on to the committee.
