.....night’s televised home game against – another of his ex-clubs – Luton Town.

Blinkhorn played a couple of games for the Hatters during a short loan spell from Blackpool during the 2005/06 season, and has also turned out for Bury.

With fifty-four goals in 252 appearances throughout his career, Blinkhorn has been signed by manager Scott McNiven to add some extra firepower to the Hyde strike force, and he scored on his debut but couldn`t prevent title-favourites Luton from running out 2-1 winners.
