....npower League Two side Bradford City.
Nineteen-year-old Dean, younger son of former Burnley and current Turf Moor Centre of Excellence manager Vince Overson, broke his leg just at the start of his two-year scholarship and because of his injuries had the scholarship extended beyond the two years.
However, there wasn't going to be a professional deal at the end of it and he was released by Burnley at the end of the 2010/11 season.
He trialled with Accrington Stanley during the 2011 pre-season but returned to Turf Moor and scored in Burnley`s first Youth Alliance League game of the season against Morecambe.
But he then played in a trial game for Bradford City and the Bantams offered him a contract in August 2011.
Overson will be eligible to make his debut against Alfreton Town on Saturday.
