Booden Steps Down as Joint Boss

....Cranfield United due to work commitments.

“It`s a real shame,” said the other half of the joint-management team, Lee Bearman. “Pat and myself had a decent season last year have known each other a long time and we get on really well, but we have come to the agreement that his work was and will be getting in the way for the foreseeable future.

“I would personally and on behalf of the club thank Pat for his commitment to me and the club. It has been a pleasure to work with him and I know he will still be in and around the club from time to time and look forward to the continuing banter.

“I am now looking for a joint-manager/assistant, coach whichever title you want to call it to help me continue the good work we have done in the last eighteen months.

“We won a cup the first for twenty-odd years last season and finished eighth - the club`s best position for over twenty years, so this season promises to be an exciting one.

“I have a few names in mind, but anyone wishing to speak to me are more than welcome. They can contact the club or call me on 07815 292166.”
