....Promotion Play-Off final at the Northolme against Gainsborough Trinity.

The travelling supporters` hearts were in their mouths right up to a minute of extra-time to go at Guiseley`s Nethermoor with both sides staring at penalties.

But Brown's goal put paid to that prospect, sending Boro into their first play-off final at Conference North level.

Nuneaton should have taken the lead in normal time but the linesman flagged the goal off-side and Brown's winner was just deserts for the Warwickshire side.

A goal from Shane Clarke earned Gainsborough their place in the play-off final as they beat FC Halifax 1-0 at The Shay in front of a tremendous crowd of 3,468.

The Shaymen had produced a terrific performance in the first leg to overturn a 2-0 deficit to eventually draw 2-2, but Clarke's 64th minute strike in the second leg proved decisive as Trinity completed a 3-2 aggregate victory.
