Danny Potter has agreed to join Boro for the new season, and has put pen-to-paper today.
Potter represented Staines Town at the end of the 2011/12 season, and was in the Staines side that lost 2-1 to Boro.
Potter is 33 and after a youth career at Chelsea he has had spells with the likes of Exeter City, Weymouth, Stevenage Borough, Cambridge United, Torquay United, Chelmsford City and Newport County.
"Goalkeepers are a vital position of any team and I am delighted to add Danny, and his experience of his position, to our squad for the 2012/13 season,” said manager Tommy Widdrington. “His arrival will give us two top quality goalkeepers.
“Danny will also be our head goalkeeping coach as well as vying with Nick to claim the number one shirt, providing healthy competition for this important position."
