.....the visitors won the Blue Square Bet North Promotion Play-Off Final on Sunday.
Boro had to defend for much of the 90 minutes in front of the travelling fans in the 3,280 crowd as they defied a Trinity onslaught.
Although goalkeeper Neil Collett was rarely called on to make saves, Boro were almost always under pressure as they dug deep to earn a place in Conference Premier.
The only goal of the game came after 17 minutes when a free-kick floated in was headed past Jason White by Brown.
The second half saw dogged defending from the Boro defence against a Trinity side that saw manager Steve Housham put three strikers on, with Leon Mettam, Paul Connor and Ryan Kendall all looking for that elusive equaliser.
Half-an-hour into the second half Connor, missed the best chance of the game when Dominic Roma's ball in was headed back into the danger area by Luke Waterfall and Connor rushed his effort.
With 5 minutes remaining Kendall shot wide from 15 yards and it was all Trinity but Nuneaton would not buckle.
Victory earns Nuneaton three promotions in four years – a remarkable achievement.
