Borrowash Sign Ex-Magpies and Stags Man
Danny Martin

....Danny Martin from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South side Coalville Town.

Martin started his career with Derby County, but it was after switching to East Midlands neighbours Notts County that his senior career took off, making fifty-five League appearances for the Magpies.

He moved onto Mansfield Town, where he added twenty-six games to his tally, before moving into non-League football with Conference Premier side Tamworth.

Mickleover Sports were his next port of call before he joined the Ravens earlier this season, making just a couple of appearances.

Borrowash boss Mark Wilson said: "Danny is a leader with fantastic experience while still being only 25 he has been in these positions before when competing for silverware with Mickleover Sports and knows what it takes.

“You cannot doubt his pedigree but he is fully aware what I want from him he has to put himself about in key areas of the pitch and help us keep the ball and with a bit of luck he may chip in with a couple of goals.

“His attitude is first class and he was very complementary about the work we are doing at the club and I am looking forward to working with him."
