.....players ahead of the 2012/13 season after announcing the capture of Richard Pell from Harrogate Town.

The Terriers have agreed terms with prolific and much-travelled striker Paul Brayson.

Brayson has played for such clubs as Newcastle United, Cardiff, York City, Gateshead, Blue Star and more recently, Harrogate Town, where he was a team-mate of ex-Lincoln City, Boston United, Gainsborough Trinity, Blyth Spartans and Alfreton Town defender Pell.

Former Gateshead midfielder Scott Blandford has also joined, and the club have re-signed left winger Stephen Baptist.

Blandford, 27, joins the Terriers from North Shields. In seventeen appearances last season, Blanford scored five goals from midfield.

Blandford has also spent time at Ashington, Gateshead and Consett, and the battling midfielder will bring a no-nonsense approach to the centre of the Terriers` park this season.

Baptist spent most of last season with the Terriers, after signing with the club in November 2011. He had a difficult time at the club last season, suffering a horrible hand injury that kept him out for some time.

Manager Keith Perry said: “Both Neil Saxton and myself are delighted with the capture of Richard, Paul and Scott’s signature and Steven committing for next season. We are busy at the moment talking to players and are pleased that most of last season`s squad have committed to the Terriers. We are talking to a couple of other targets and expect more major announcements to be imminent.”
