Bucks Batter Nine-Man Ashton
Lee Morris

However, on Wednesday night they turned over visiting Ashton United 6-1 – albeit against nine-men!

The Bucks had a great start when Kieran Lugsden bagged a brace in the 22nd and 40th minute.

But the wheels fell off for the Tamesiders when they had new centre back Paul Bolland and goalkeeper Terry Smith sent-off, with Lee Morris rubbing salt into the wounds by converting a penalty right on the stroke of half-time.

Steve Johnson managed to pull one back for the nine-men 9 minutes after the break only for Morris to add his second and Buxton`s fourth less than a minute later.

And the home side took advantage of a tiring Ashton side to add two more in the final 6 minutes from Jordan Thewlis and Grant Black.
