Leslie, 24 and still based in Shrewsbury, was released by league rivals Wrexham at the end of last season.

The Bucks have been pursuing the Glasgow-born left-sided player for most of the summer and eventually got their man after agreeing terms late on Monday.

Leslie went into the starting line-up for Tuesday’s goalless draw against a Birmingham City XI at the New Bucks Head.
