A tribunal will, however, decide the amount payable to the Romans after both sides failed to agree to a fee.

The 21-year-old former Swansea City and Cheltenham Town man became the Robins' youngest ever player before his loan move to Bath was made permanent.

United boss Martin Foyle said: "He's done very well in the pre-season and I expect him to grow and improve as a player."
