Billericay Town`s busy end-of-season continued on Wednesday night as they beat lower mid-table Harrow Borough 2-0 at New Lodge to move to within two points of leaders Dulwich Hamlet, still with three games in hand.
The Essex side`s fourth game in seven days saw them almost fall behind in the 17th minute but for a fine save from Alan Julian from a Ryan Moss header.
On the half-hour mark, Billericay`s Dean Inman had a header cleared off the line by Boro defender George Moore as the teams went into the break all-square.
Boro `keeper Melvin Minter made a brilliant save to prevent Billy Bricknell from scoring goal number 101 for the club.
However, just 2 minutes later, the home side did manage to break the deadlock when Jake Robinson tapped the ball home from close range for his 44th league goal of an amazing season for the former Brighton & Hove Albion striker.
Five minutes later, Harrow came close to equalising, but Julian made another fine save to stop Moore from close range.
And on 78 minutes, it was game over when Bricknell`s pull back was smashed home by Luke Rooney.
