Byrne, who played for the Tigers under new manager Scott McNiven during a loan spell at the end of the 2010/11 season, has made a total of forty-seven appearances for the club, scoring two goals.

Meanwhile, Hyde have signed Alex Brown from Conference North new boys Chester FC.

The central midfielder who impressed Chester fans last term and played a key role in the Blues’ Evo-Stik Northern Premier League championship-winning campaign, confirmed he is expecting to secure a deal at the Ewen Fields club this week.
