Corby Town moved up to eleventh in the Evo-Stik League South table after completing a fourth win in succession under caretaker-manager Steve Kinniburgh on Wednesday night.

On a wild and windy night at Steel Park, the Steelmen beat newcomers Alvechurch 3-1 to move level on points with the Midland League champions.

It was a notable victory too as `Church hadn`t lost away from home this season to date.

Corby took a 25th minute lead through Sam Mulready, who then doubled his and the home side`s tally 12 minutes later.

Northampton Town loanee Leon Lobjoit eventually made the points safe for the Steelmen when he made it 3-0 with 15 minutes remaining, although Daniel Dubidat did manage a consolation for the visitors in the 85th minute.
