.....coming season in a message that will become clear to players and supporters
Carmichael said: "I am really pleased to have been appointed to rebuild the pride at Moorlands. Of course last season was poor on a number of fronts but that is history and it my responsibility to ensure whichever league we are in to get that pride back I have contacted some new players and some of last year`s lads have said they want to return so we already have the nucleus of a side.
“Training will be tough but enjoyable and disciplined My philosophy will be to play open entertaining football on the ground and we will attack as well. But more than anything else we will have discipline about what we do.
“Our record last season with cautions and red cards was grossly unacceptable and this year it will be cleaned up.
“I want supporters to enjoy what we do, see us as a more professional outfit and work more with the young players and the reserves so all the club is pulling together. In doing all this I believe the good times will return, and we will get more people through the gate, and as a consequence be able to attract more revenue through sponsorship etc.
“I have Baz Barker working with me who knows the players and I have brought in Paul Warman a young coach who cut his teeth at Lincoln City Centre of Excellence so we have a good team to make all this work.
“We have Gainsborough Trinity and Scunthorpe United forming part of our pre-season line-up and there will be some other good teams coming to Newark Road.
“This is the `Moorlands Revolution` and I personally look forward to the challenge."
