Uhlsport Hellenic League

...Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One West club's AGM in July.
When King took over the club was facing financial difficulties, but with his hard work and dedication, supported particularly by his wife Carol, the club's Executive Committee and with additional help from Carterton Town Council, the club has flourished.
Football has always been a large part of the sporting life in Carterton and the Football Club fields some twenty-five teams from age 7 upwards, both boys and girls, a senior team at level 5 of the non-League Pyramid, W&D Men's, Ladies and Veteran teams.
Their facilities at Kilkenny Lane are one of the best at this level and geared towards playing at a higher level. The facilities are often hired out to local and County FA's to host finals and representative games.
Many Service families live in and close to the town and the Club benefits a lot from active support from a considerable number of RAF personnel. During his tenure many of the teams have been very successful within their own leagues and the Club's facilities, both on and off the pitch have been considerably improved. Overall Rob is very proud of his achievements, but feels now is the time for a new Chairman to lead the Club. He will, however, remain on board as an active committee member and continue to support the Club and new Chairman.
The club's President Roy Stephens said: “Rob's enthusiasm, passion and commitment has been outstanding. He has dedicated the past five years to ensuring the club becomes stable and its future, sustainable and the club has benefitted considerably from his leadership.”
