Tommy Cassidy

....Cassidy has acted quickly by appointing Paddy Atkinson as the new first-team coach.

Atkinson comes in to replace Gavin Fell, who quit Croft Park as number two last week.

Atkinson’s career in football started as a youth at Sheffield United in 1987. His senior career started when he moved to Hartlepool in 1988.

As well as playing for Blyth Spartans in 2000 he also made forty appearances for York City and sixty-four for Queen of the South.
