.....Blue Square Bet North club have taken 19-year-old Alex Cairns on a month`s loan from npower Championship side Leeds United.

Yorkshire-born Cairns signed his first professional contract during the summer of 2011.

He joined Leeds` Academy in 2006 and has excelled in recent years.

He was a near ever present in the under-18s in 2010/11 season and joined the first-team squad on their tour of Scotland during the summer of 2011.

He made his first team debut as a second half substitute against Blackpool at Elland Road in November 2011.

He was also an unused substitute on several occasions during the season and had a loan spell with Conference Premier side Barrow during last term.
