Champions Announce New Management Team
Richard Sennett and Mark Turner

.....Richard Sennett and Mark Turner will be taking over as the first-team management for the new season.

Sennett and Turner spent the last three seasons at fellow NCEL side Winterton Rangers with the Lincolnshire side finishing in the top six in each of those seasons, winning the Presidents Cup and Lincolnshire FA Cup.

Last season saw the side reach the semi-finals of the League Cup and Presidents Cup.

They both bring with them a wealth of experience at non-League level, both also having managed Brodsworth Welfare, with Sennett having a spell at Rossington Main as player-manager and Turner managing Thorne Colliery and Hatfield Main, winning the Central Midlands League in 2006/07.

Also coming to the club with the duo will be Craig Mellor, an FA Qualified goalkeeping coach with over twenty years of non-League experience, Laura Clarke, who will take on the role as Physio and Liam Slack as player-coach.

They are keen to work with the committee to regain stability and consolidate the work that has already been achieved as Retford look forward to a more stable future.

They will be working on the pre-season schedule, for both training and matches in the coming weeks and further news will be announced as soon as things are confirmed.
