Chapman Can`t Wait to Get Started
Ian Chapman

......Hill Town, revealed his views on the up and coming season.

Chapman said: “I am really looking forward to getting the boys together for pre-season training on Tuesday.

“Adam Hinshelwood and I are really pleased with the new signings so far and there will be more to follow. “It`s great that the Harding brothers together with Jono and Ben Lucas have committed themselves to the club and hopefully a few more of the local lads will follow suit after we get back to training. “We have booked in plenty of friendlies as Adam and myself want the opportunity to see the players over a number of games and we want the players to understand the way that we want them to play, and it is sometimes easier to do that in a match format. “Adam is hopefully going to play this season and that is great news not only for me but for Burgess Hill Town. It is my opinion that Adam is going to be the best defender in the league.

“These are exciting times and myself and Adam are keen to get the ball rolling. Richard Strange is doing a fantastic job off the pitch and hopefully we will see the crowds coming back to Leylands Park which will help the boys enormously.”
