Cherries Returning to Cuthbury

.....Wimborne Town in a summer friendly.

Last year saw the npower League One side play the Magpies in a testimonial game for fans’ favourite Paul Roast.

This year’s game scheduled for Wednesday, 8th August highlights the strong relationship which has developed between the two clubs since Steve Cuss became Wimborne manager. Cuss included several AFC Bournemouth loanees in the squad last term.

“Games against local professional sides are always very attractive,” said the Magpies` boss.

“Everyone at the club, players and fans alike will be looking forward to AFC Bournemouth’s visit.”

The Magpies schedule of summer friendlies also includes visits by Weymouth, AFC Totton and Dorchester Town.

The squad will be visiting Torquay during July when they face Carlsberg South West Peninsular League side Galmpton United.
