It needed Coalville to lose or draw at Lye Meadow against struggling Alvechurch and long-time leaders Tipton Town to win at home against Friar Lane & Epworth.

Tipton did their bit, with Jozsef Jakub breaking the deadlock just after half-time and then Lee Osborne with two and Danny Bragoli wrapping up a 4-0 win.

However, news had already filtered through that Coalville were an amazing 6-0 up at the break with Ashley Wells netting four of them after Lee Miveld and Ashley Brown had given them a 2-0 lead.

Cameron Stuart and an Anthony Carney brace completed the 9-0 rout and leave both clubs level on 100 points, but Coalville as champions, thanks to a far superior goal difference.

Notable results elsewhere on Saturday saw Biddulph Victoria bow out with a 5-0 drubbing of Oadby Town, who are also going.

Darren Chadwick scored the only goal of the first half and then Chris Baker, James Marrow, Lee Cropper and Matt Pearson all found the net in the second period for Vics, many of whom will be reappearing in the colours of Vodkat North West Counties Leaguers Alsager Town next season.

Boldmere St Michaels also ended the season going nap at home to Ellesmere Rangers, with Tom Law netting a hat-trick and Matt Hawker a brace.
