.....Combined Counties League side Guernsey FC in the FA Vase Third Round on Sunday.

Currently second in the Kent Hurlimann League Premier Division, the Deres have scored in each of their last fifty-one league matches and have only failed to score in one match in all competitions this season.

"We are aware of the different records we have broken in our division. We want to write history," said Collins.

"We said we wanted to win the league and this is the furthest we've ever gone in the Vase too."

The key to their goalscoring success has been the form of striker Andy Constable, and Collins is well aware of his importance to the team.

"I think he's scored something like fifty goals in sixty games," Collins added. "Andy's been around, he's very experienced, he's good at what he does and we've got good strength in depth."

However Collins is well aware of the threat posed by Guernsey following their win over neighbours Erith Town in the last round of The Vase when they came back from 3-0 down to win 4-3 in extra time with Ross Allen scoring the winning goal.

"They're a very good side, very organised and Allen is a great goalscorer for them," he said. "But we have to focus on our own game and adapt accordingly."

Collins, however, took no great satisfaction from seeing his side's local rivals knocked out and says members of their neighbouring club had even sent 'good luck' text messages ahead of this weekend's trip. So all the focus is on winning, having told his players "to treat Guernsey as their cup final."
