Weymouth, who are yet to win away, played some good football throughout but without any end product, giving home ‘keeper Darren Chitty a relatively quiet night.

Mike Perrott gave the home side the lead after 39 minutes and then 2 minutes after the break Dean Evans added a second.

Frome could have extended their lead with Lewis Powell hitting the post and Matt Smith sending a header inches over the bar from close range.
