Community Day at Wingate & Finchley

....Athletic on Saturday (28th April) to hold their annual community day.

A 5-a-side tournament is planned, along with coaching sessions for local school children.

There will also be a half-time presentation by McDonalds to celebrate the new kit sponsorship deal for the club’s learning disability teams.

Community Development Manager Mike Bayly said: “The day marks another important milestone in the club’s history. Not only have we secured another season in the Ryman League Premier Division, but our community engagement projects go from strength to strength. The new partnership with McDonalds is an important step in our evolution, for which we are eternally grateful.”

Local Conservative MP Mike Freer, who is a keen supporter of the club’s community initiatives, will be special guest for the day.
