....club Kendal Town in order to regain match fitness following injury.

Connerton is best known for his time at Lancaster City, where he won the 2009/10 `golden boot` for the NPL First Division North.

The 22-year-old joined the npower League Two outfit in February of that season, returning to the Dolly Blues on loan.

Since then he has spent time on loan at Nantwich Town and Icelandic club IBV.

Connerton celebrated the move with a goal in Kendal’s 4-1 win over the Dabbers on Saturday.
