....by agreeing deals for Chris Clements and Jamie Tolley from July 1st.
Former Crewe Alexandra trainee Clements has signed from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Hednesford Town for an undisclosed fee after Cox beat off interest from several League and non-League clubs to capture the central midfielder.
The 22-year-old netted seventeen goals last season for the Pitmen and was on trial at npower Championship outfit Burnley earlier last month.
Experienced midfielder Tolley, 29, has amassed over 250 League appearances with Macclesfield, Hereford and Shrewsbury, where he spent seven years.
He joins on a free transfer from Wrexham where he scored five goals in over thirty-five league appearances last season.
Commenting on the new arrivals, Cox said: "In Chris Clements, we have signed one of the best footballers outside of the Conference National. He is technically very gifted and has a good range of passing.
"Jamie Tolley is an experienced midfielder who plays box-to-box. He fits into our winning mentality and will give us good energy in midfield.
"We are in the process of talking to numerous players who we think will improve the strength of our squad."
