The Californian will be one of several players in both squads who have played for the two clubs during their careers.

Cream has never played in a Wimborne v Poole clash before, but knows how important these games are to fans and players alike.

“I’ve played in local derbies elsewhere and everyone wants to win and gain local bragging rights,” Cream insisted. “A lot of the Wimborne and Poole players know each other and there is always a lot of banter surrounding a game like this.

“It’s a big game for Wimborne Town. There’s something about a local derby that sets it apart and to win this one would be something special.”
