....is tracking Bromsgrove Sporting midfielder James Turk.
But Cunnington has denied making a formal move for the player, despite Sporting claiming the Yeltz had lodged a seven-day approach.
Cunnington admits he was impressed with Turk when the two clubs met in a friendly recently but is yet to take his interest any further.
He said: “He is a player who did very well against us and we are looking at him. But we haven’t made a seven-day approach - I don’t know where that’s come from.”
The Yeltz have been frustrated in their pursuit of former Solihull Moors defender Phil Midworth, who has signed with Redditch United, while Henry Eze has agreed to terms at Evesham United after his friendly appearance at Bartley Green had raised hopes of a return to The Grove.
But the manager has been encouraged by the performances of a number of young players, not least defender Joseph Drake, who started the 4-0 defeat to Solihull Moors and last Tuesday’s 2-1 win at Alvechurch.
He added: “Joseph has come into the backline and done very well.
“He looks like having a very bright future ahead of him if he continues to play like he has done.
“I thought Solihull Moors looked extremely fit and they had the advantage of playing a different side each half.
“It was always going to be a difficult game for us but we bounced back well at Alvechurch.
“In terms of bringing players in, we’ve been frustrated a little but we are constantly on the lookout.”
