...Senior Cup final on Tuesday night, beating Blue Square Bet North side Stalybridge Celtic 1-0.

Michael Lennon’s strike late in the first half was enough to bring home the silverware to the Weaver Stadium.

Jimmy Quinn’s side showed grit and fighting spirit to hang on against their higher grade opponents and land the trophy.

It is only the fourth time in the club’s 128-year history that Nantwich have won the Cheshire Senior Cup.
