Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club Redditch United have signed Birmingham-born front man Connor Deards.

Deards Makes Permanent Reds Switch
Connor Deards

Deards is no stranger to the Reds, playing on loan for the club for several matches last year on loan from npower League One side Walsall – he also impressed during a temporary spell in the Blue Square Bet North with Hinckley United.

He has an impressive record built by playing through the ranks, with his goalscoring ability and physical presence proving real assets.

He was much sought-after by other clubs, but Deards has chosen to sign for the Reds as he was impressed with the welcome and the support received last season.
