....United Counties League Division One rivals Thrapston Town.

Gilsenan is a 36-year-old midfielder with extensive UCL experience playing for the likes of Desborough Town, Wellingborough Town and Stewarts and Lloyds, as well having played at Southern League level for Corby Town and Stamford. He faced the Diamonds whilst playing for Thrapston a fortnight ago.

Diamonds manager Mark Starmer commented on the signing, confirming that he will be involved on Saturday. "I was impressed in what I saw when we faced Thrapston, and thought he would bring something different to the midfield.

"I would like to thank Ian Walker at Thrapston for allowing this move to go ahead this week."
